Abstract
"PROCESSO DE MISTURA ELETROMAGNéTICA PARA A FUNDIçãO CONTìNUA DE PRODUTOS METáLICOS DE SEçãO ALONGADA". A presente invenção refere-se, no decorrer de uma operação de fundição contínua em lingoteira (1) por um bocal imerso (4) com aberturas de saídas laterais (5, 5<39>) que se abrem diante das paredes menores (3, 3<39>), à mistura, de acordo com a invenção, que utiliza campos magnéticos móveis que agem por par pelo menos na zona do resfriamento secundário da instalação de fundição, deslizando co-linearmente entre si em sentidos opostos, de maneira a forçar o estabelecimento de uma corrente longitudinal mediano no poço líquido, segundo duas correntes co-lineares antagónicas, as quais produzem um movimento de conjunto em figura de 'trevo de quatro lóbulos', cujos lóbulos superiores (L1, L4) se estendem em lingoteira até às proximidades dos jatos de saída 7, 7<39> das aberturas do bocal, para travá-los ou acelerá-los conforme necessidade. A invenção oferece uma mistura de conjunto do metal na altura metalúrgica, assegurando dessa forma uma homogeneidade tanto térmica quanto química entre o topo e a parte inferior do poço líquido, sem para tanto se privar dos efeitos benéficos próprios às misturas em lingoteira e no resfriamento secundário respectivamente e sem perturbar, até mesmo contendo, o modo de escoamento local na lingoteira.
