Abstract

"REDUTOR DE TAXA DE EMBEBIçãO MODULAR PARA USO COM BOMBA OSMóTICA IMPLANTáVEL". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de bomba osmótica que compreende uma cápsula que possui pelo menos uma porta de liberação, um plugue de membrana retido em uma extremidade aberta da cápsula, afastada da porta de liberação, o plugue de membrana provendo uma barreira permeável a fluido entre o interior e o exterior da cápsula, e um redutor de taxa de embebição removível que pode ser fixado à cápsula. O redutor de taxa de embebição compreende um ou mais controladores de fluxo selecionados do grupo que consiste em um orifício, que possui um tamanho selecionado menor que a área de superfície do plugue de membrana, e em uma membrana que possui espessura, área de superfície, compressão radial e permeabilidade selecionadas. O redutor de taxa de embebição permite a administração personalizada de medicamentos.
