Abstract

"MéTODO PARA PRODUZIR UM REVESTIMENTO DE óXIDO DE FERRO SOBRE UM ARTIGO DE VIDRO EM UM PROCESSO ON-LINE DE 'FLOAT GLASS' A PRESSãO ATMOSFéRICA, E ARTIGO DE VIDRO REVESTIDO". é definido um método para produzir um revestimento de óxido de ferro sobre um artigo de vidro. O artigo é preferivelmente para uso como um envidraçamento para uso arquitetónico. O método inclui proporcionar um substrato de vidro aquecido possuindo uma superfície sobre a qual o revestimento é para ser depositado. Ferroceno e um oxidante são dirigidos na direção e ao longo da superfície a ser revestida, e o ferroceno e o oxidante são reagidos na ou próximo da superfície do substrato de vidro para formar um revestimento de óxido de ferro.
