Abstract

MéTODO E APARELHO PARA PRODUZIR UM FIO DE AçO REVESTIDO A presente invenção relaciona-se a um método e um aparelho para produzir um fio de aço para reforçar um material elastomérico. O fio de aço inclui um núcleo de metal (5) e uma camada de revestimento feita de um material de liga de metal tendo uma composição incluindo pelo menos um primeiro componente de metal e pelo menos um segundo componente de metal. De acordo com a invenção, o método inclui as etapas de a) levar o núcleo de aço (5) ao longo de um trajeto predeterminado de uma maneira substancialmente contínua; b) co-bombardear pelo menos um primeiro catodo energizado (1; 1', 1") feito de dito primeiro componente de metal e pelo menos um segundo catodo energizado (2; 2', 2") feito de dito segundo componente de metal sobre o núcleo de aço sendo movido ao longo de dito trajeto predeterminado para obter uma camada de revestimento feita de um material de liga de metal de uma primeira composição; e c) ajustar a potência provida a pelo menos um dito primeiro (1; 1', 1") e segundo (2; 2', 2") catodo para obter uma camada de revestimento feita de um material de liga de metal de uma composição.
