Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA EXTRAçãO E RECUPERAçãO DE POLIHIDROXIALCANOATOS (PHAS) DE BIOMASSA CELULAR". Compreendendo as etapas de: extração de polihidroxialcanoato com pelo menos um solvente não halogenado e não agressivo ao meio ambiente; aquecer a biomassa celular, para formar uma suspensão compreendendo solvente de PHA com o PHA dissolvido, resíduos insolúveis; recuperação do solvente enriquecido com o PHA; injeção do solvente enriquecido com PHA em um fluxo de vapor de modo a promover, rapidamente, a completa precipitação de PHA em água, enquanto se processa a evaporação do solvente; esgotar o solvente residual; separar as partículas de PHA, purificadas, da suspensão e secá-las.
