Abstract

EXTRAçãO, POR SOLVENTE, DE POLIIDROXIALCANOATO DE BIOMASSA Processo para a extração de PHAs de biomassa que compreende as etapas de:combinar a biomassa que contém os PHAs com um único solvente para formar um licor de biomassa, aquecer o licor de biomassa até solubilizar ao menos parcialmente os PHAs contidos na biomassa para formar um licor de PHA, separar a biomassa do licor de PHA para formar um licor rico em PHA, evaporar de 0 % a cerca de 50 % do solvente contido no licor rico em PRA para formar um vapor de solvente e um concentrado de licor rico em PHA, resfriar o concentrado de licor rico em PHA para formar poliidroxialcanoato precipitado e um licor de solvente impuro. Opcionalmente, recuperar os PHAs precipitados do licor de solvente impuro por filtração sob pressão.
