Abstract

MéTODO E COMPOSIçõES PARA MODIFICAçãO DE REOLOGIA DE SOLUçõES DE SAL SOLúVEIS AQUOSAS. Um método para a preparação de uma solução de sal aquosa de reologia modificada inclui adicionar a esta, uma argila não hidratável, como definido, e pelo menos, um composto capaz de contribuir, na solução, com um cátion de metal divalente e um cátion de metal trivalente; e em seguida ajustar o pH a uma faixa específica. Uma composição seca compreendendo pelo menos um composto capaz de contribuir com os cátions designados e, opcionalmente, a argila não hidratável é também descrita. Esta invenção é particularmente aplicável a fluídos de broquear, e mais particularmente a tais fluidos usados em lugares de broqueação de mar aberto e litorâneo onde a presença de salinidade foi conhecida para significantemente reduzir a eficácia das argilas como agentes de engrossamento.
