Abstract
métodos e composições para a detecção de doença cervical. a presente invenção refere-se a métodos e composições para identificar a doença cervical de alto grau em uma amostra do paciente. os métodos da invenção compreendem detectar a superexpressão de pelo menos um biomarcador em uma amostra de corpo, onde o biomarcador é seletivamente superexpresso na doença cervical de alto grau. nas reivindicações particulares, a amostra de corpo é um esfregaço cervical ou monocamada de células cervicais. os biomarcadores da invenção incluem genes e proteínas que estão envolvidos na regulação do ciclo celular, na transdução de sinal, e na replicação e na transcrição de dna. nas reivindicações particulares, o biomarcador é um gene de fase s. em alguns aspectos da invenção, a superexpressão de um biomarcador de interesse é detectada no nível de proteína usando anticorpos específicos para os biomarcadores ou no nível de ácido nucléico usando técnicas de hibridização de ácido nucléico. são adicionalmente proporcionados kits para efetuar os métodos da invenção.
