Abstract

PROCESSO APRIMORADO PARA A EXTRAçãO POR SOLVENTE DE POLIHIDROXIALCANOATOS DE BIOMASSA Processos aprimorados para a extração de polihidroxialcanoato de uma biomassa seca que contém o polihidroxialcanoato, que compreende as etapas de: combinar a biomassa que contém o polihidroxialcanoato com um solvente selecionado entre cetonas de cadeia inferior e misturas destas cetonas para formar um licor de biomassa que compreende menos de cerca de 25 % de água; misturar o licor de biomassa com cerca de 10 a cerca de 300 minutos a uma temperatura na faixa de cerca de 70<198>C a cerca de 120<198>C; separar o polihidroxialcanoato do licor de biomassa para formar um licor rico em PHA, sendo que a separação ocorre a uma temperatura de pelo menos cerca de 40<198>C; misturar o licor rico em PHA com água para formar um polihidroxialcanoato precipitado e um licor de solvente impuro, sendo que a água é misturada com o licor rico em PHA à razão de cerca de 3 partes de água para uma parte de polihidroxialcanoato; e recuperar o polihidroxialcanoato precipitado do licor de solvente impuro. O tratamento opcional com agentes oxidantes ou com tensoativos suaves ou com alvejantes suaves é usado para melhorar a cor e o odor.
