Abstract

DISPOSITIVO DE AMOSTRAGEM DE CéLULAS COLORRETAIS A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo para a coleta de uma amostra de células esfoliadas da superfície mucosa colorretal de um indivíduo humano, que compreende um elemento de inserção colorretal (1), que tem uma extremidade de inserção distal (2), uma extremidade proximal (34) e uma cavidade interna que pode ser fechada (3) , um membrana flexível, que tem uma superfície externa de amostragem de células (5) e uma superfície interna, em que a membrana é presa, à maneira de vedação, à extremidade de inserção distal do elemento de inserção e mantida dentro da cavidade interna, de modo que, quando em uso, a pressurização da cavidade interna até pelo menos uma primeira pressão elevada faça com que a membrana seja emitida da extremidade distal do elemento de inserção de modo a fazer contato com a superfície mucosa colorretal e a pressurização da cavidade interna até uma segunda pressão reduzida faça com que a membrana seja invertida e volte à cavidade interna do elemento de inserção. São também descritos um estojo que compreende o dispositivo e métodos de amostragem de células colorretais que utilizam o dispositivo.
