Abstract

COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO. A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição de revestimento que compreende pelo menos um pigmento disperso em um polímero de acrílico, em que o polímero de acrílico é preparado primeiro pela polimerização de uma mistura de monómeros insaturados etilenicamente: (a) pelo menos cerca de 15% em peso de isocianato não-saturado de meta-isopropenil-<244>,<244>-dimetilbenzila; (b) pelo menos um outro monómero polimerizável aromático, em uma quantidade de modo que os monómeros (a) e (b) combinados tem pelo menos cerca de 50 por cento em peso da mistura de monómeros insaturados etilenicamente; e (c) pelo menos um (met)acrilato de alquila para formar um polímero, e em segundo lugar reagindo os grupos de isocianato do polímero com um (d) ácido de hidroxialquila no qual o hidróxi e os grupos de ácidos são separados por pelo menos quatro átomos ou com um diol tendo um grupo hidroxila primário e um grupo hidroxila secundário e, depois, com um anidrido cíclico.
