Abstract
PROCESSO PARA MINIMIZAçãO DA RE-OXIDAçãO DE MATERIAL REDUZIDO E PROCESSO PARA REDUçãO ELETROQUìMICA DE UM MATERIAL DE ALIMENTAçãO DE óXIDO METáLICO A presente invenção divulga um processo para minimizar a re-oxidação de um material reduzido. O processo se aplica ao material reduzido que foi formado através de um processo de redução eletroquímica de um material de alimentação de óxido metálico, tal como titânia (óxido de titânio), em estado sólido em uma cuba eletrolítica contendo um eletrólito fundido, O processo para minimização da re-oxidação inclui a aplicação de um potencial elétrico ao material reduzido, pelo menos enquanto o material reduzido permanecer imerso no eletrólito fundido.
