Abstract
SISTEMA PARA ATIVAçãO DE VáLVULA DE MOTOR EM UM MOTOR à COMBUSTãO INTERNA. Um sistema e método para ativar uma ou mais válvulas de motor são fornecidos. Em particular, sistemas e métodos para fornecer ativação de válvula variável para aperfeiçoar a performance do motor são fornecidos. Modalidades da presente invenção podem ser usadas em conjunto com potência positiva, frenagem de motor, e/ou operação de recirculação de gás de exaustão de um motor à combustão interna. Em uma modalidade, o sistema compreende: um elemento de trem de válvula; um alojamento disposto intermediário ao elemento de trem de válvula e a válvula de motor; um pistão externo disposto de forma deslizante em um orifício formado no alojamento, o pistão externo tendo uma cavidade formada neste; um pistão interno disposto de forma deslizante na cavidade de pistão externo; e uma válvula em comunicação com a cavidade de pistão externo, a válvula tendo mais de uma posição, onde a posição da válvula determina o tempo do evento de válvula de motor.
