Abstract
Sistema e método de comunicação sem fio para implementação de entrega independente de meios entre redes de acesso tecnologicamente diversificada. Sistema de comunicação sem fio que inclui pelo menos uma unidade de transmissão e recepção sem fio (WTRU) de múltiplos blocos IEEE 802 e uma série de redes de acesso tecnologicamente diversificadas, tais como redes IEEE 802.X e redes do Processo de Parceria de Terceira Geração (3GPP) que são desdobradas simultaneamente. Tanto a WTRU de múltiplos blocos quanto as redes tecnologicamente diversificadas incluem função de entrega independente de meios (MIH). A WTRU é configurada para ler informações de MIH transmitidas a partir de uma das redes IEEE 802.X, acionar procedimentos de autorização e autenticação de 3GPP com base nas informações de MIH, obter endereço de protocolo de Internet (IP) local, estabelecer túnel paraportal de dados de pacotes (PDG) em rede central 3GPP, construir endereço de envio (CoA) e registrar o CoA com agente doméstico da WTRU, por meio do quê os dados destinados à WTRU são dirigidos por meio do agente doméstico através de novo túnel estabelecido entre o agente doméstico e agente externo com base no CoA.
