Abstract

MADEIRA. A presente invenção fornece composições conservantes de madeira compreendendo partículas micronizadas. Em uma forma de realização, a composição compreende dispersões de metal micronizado ou compostos de metal. Em uma outra forma de realização, a composição conservante de madeira compreende um componente inorgânico compreendendo um metal ou composto de metal e biocida orgânico. Quando a composição compreende um componente inorgânico e um biocida orgânico, o componente inorgânico ou o biocida orgânico ou ambos estão presentes como partículas micronizadas. Quando as composições da presente invenção são usadas para a preservação de madeira, as partículas micronizadas podem ser observadas como uniformemente distribuídas dentro da madeira e existe lixiviação mínima do metal e biocida da madeira.
