Abstract
MÉTODOS PARA MAXIMIZAR A RETENÇçO DE PARTÍCULAS SUPERABRASIVAS EM UMA MATRIZ METÁLICA. A invenção refere-se a métodos para maximizar a retenção de partículas superabrasivas em uma matriz metálica. As partículas superabrasivas (10) podem ser ligadas quimicamente à matriz metálica (15) até um grau que mantém as partículas superabrasivas (10) na matriz metálica (15), sem degradar substancialmente as partículas superabrasivas (10). A degradação substancial das partículas superabrasivas (10) pode ser evitada protegendo as partículas superabrasivas (10) contra ligação excessiva durante o processo de ligação química.
