Abstract

FIXAçãO DE STENT. Os métodos de fixação do stents polimérico que simultaneamente aplica uma força radial ao stent para reduzir o diâmetro do stent e uma força longitudinal para alongar o stent. De acordo com tal método, um stent (10) é inserido em um tubo elástico (12) tendo uma superfície interna que define uma passagem. O tubo é puxado para causar alongamento do tubo. Quando o tubo é alongado, a superfície interna do tubo ocupa uma superfície externa do stent e aplica forças radiais e longitudinais simultâneas à superfície externa do stent. As forças radiais e longitudinais simultaneamente aplicadas simultaneamente reduzem uma extensão radial do stent e aumentam uma extensão longitudinal do stent.
