Abstract

MéTODO PARA VERIFICAR ATUALIZAçõES DE UM APLICATIVO DE SOFTWARE INSTALADO EM UM TERMINAL DE COMUNICAçõES SEM FIO, TERMINAL DE COMUNICAçõES SEM FIO ADAPTADO PARA SER USADO EM UMA REDE DE COMUNICAçõES SEM FIO, E, REDE DE COMUNICAçõES SEM FIO. Um método é divulgado para verificar atualizações de um aplicativo de sofiware instalado em um terminal de comunicações sem fio adaptado para ser usado em uma rede de comunicações sem fio em combinação com um módulo de identidade de assinante. No módulo de identidade de assinante uma função de servidor de web adaptada para interagir com o aplicativo de software instalado no terminal de comunicações sem fio é fornecida. Quando uma atualização do aplicativo de software está disponível, o terminal de comunicações sem fio é notificado, tal que informação sobre disponibilidade da atualização é tornada disponível para a função de servidor de web. O aplicativo de software envia, pelo menos, uma solicitação de disponibilidade de atualização para a função de servidor de web no módulo de identidade de assinante, de modo a verificar se uma atualização está disponível.
