Abstract

"MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA PROVIDO COM UM DISPOSITIVO DE AQUECIMENTO EM UMA CáMARA DE COMBUSTãO E UM MéTODO DE CONTROLE PARA O DISPOSITIVO DE AQUECIMENTO". Um motor de combustão interna (1) compreendendo pelo menos um cilindro (2) provido com pelo menos um dispositivo de aquecimento (11) adaptado para aquecer uma câmara de combustão de volume variável (9) no interior do cilindro (2), e uma unidade de controle eletrónico (12) que, por sua vez, compreende um módulo de estimação (13) adaptado para estimar a temperatura (T~ GS~) da vela de aquecimento (11) no interior da câmara de combustão (9), e um módulo de controle (15) que é adaptado para acionar a vela de aquecimento (11) como uma função da temperatura estimada (T~ GS~).
