"MéTODO PARA GERAçãO NO PONTO DE USO DE DIóXIDO DE CLORO". Método para geração, no ponto de uso, de dióxido de cloro, onde o dióxido de cloro é gerado rapidamente e em concentrações aceitáveis para evitar a necessidade de diluições subseqüentes e manter o produto não- corrosivo em relação á superfície a ser tratada. Uma solução de persulfato e uma solução de clorito são misturadas em uma relação molar de persulfato para clorito maior que 2. A solução de clorito é tamponada para um pH de 9 a 12. A solução de persulfato é tamponada para um pH de 3 a 9.
