Abstract

INSTALAçãO DE LAMINAçãO E PROCESSO PARA PRODUçãO DE UMA TIRA DE METAL. A invenção refere-se a uma instalação de laminação (l00) e a um processo para sua operação. Instalações de laminação (100) conhecidas abrangem tipicamente uma armação reversível (110) para a laminação de tira de metal (200) em várias operações de laminação, até que a tira de metal tenha atingido uma espessura desejada. Ao menos um dispositivo de bobinar reversível (130) está associado à armação reversível (110) com um mandril de bobinar (132) para armazenagem intermediária da tira de metal (200) depois das distintas operações de laminação. Além disso, as instalações de laminação (100) conhecidas dispõem de um dispositivo sensor para determinação da espessura da tira de metal (200). Para se obter, a preço compatível, uma alta flexibilidade quando do emprego de pré-materiais com espessuras de tira de distinta dimensão, propõe-se de acordo com a invenção que a instalação de laminação apresente um dispositivo de troca de carreto (140), para enfiamento de um carreto (134) no mandril de bobinar (132) antes de uma armazenagem intermediária da tira de metal (200) e para remoção do carreto do mandril de bobinar entre duas operações de laminação, quando a espessura da tira de metal determinada pelo dispositivo sensor (120) é ainda maior do que a espessura desejada, mas já menor do que um valor limiar de espessura predeterminado.
