Abstract

MéTODO PARA DETECçAO DA PRESENçA OU QUANTIDADE DE UMA PROTEìNA ERRONEAMENTE DUPLICADA EM UMA AMOSTRA E KIT. A invenção proporciona métodos e kits para detecção de proteínas contormacionalmente alteradas, tais como prions ou outras proteínas associadas a estados doentios, em uma amostra. Os métodos compreendem captura seletiva e separação de complexos de peptídeo e proteína conformacionalmente alterada de substâncias que interferem com a detecção de tais complexos e, de preferência, amplificação do sinal de detecção quando de adição de um segundo peptídeo duplamente rotulado.
