Abstract
PROCESSO PARA FORMAçãO DE UM REVESTIMENTO DE CONVERSãO NãO-CROMATO BEM-VISìVEL PARA MAGNéSIO OU LIGAS DE MAGNéSIO, O REFERIDO REVESTIMENTO E MéTODO DE USO. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a formação de um revestimento de conversão não-cromato bem-visível na superfície de magnésio ou de ligas de magnésio, a uma composição e a um método de uso para tais produtos revestidos tendo superfícies de magnésio ou de qualquer liga de magnésio. A composição é uma solução ou dispersão compreendendo um ácido fluorossilício. A composição é preferivelmente uma solução aquosa tendo um pH na faixa de 0,5 a 5 e inclui frequentemente pelo menos um agente de ajuste de pH. O seu revestimento formado é útil paraaumentar a sua resistência à corrosão e a adesão do magnésio e da liga de magnésio a um revestimento de tinta, revestimento em pó, e-revestimento, revestimento de fluoropolímero, camada autolubrificante, e camada adesiva de aglutinação, O revestimento de conversão pode favoravelmente ser revestido com um revestimento de fluoropolímero, revestido com um selante à base de silano ou com ambos. O revestimento assim formado é tipicamente de aparência não metálica, fosca e cinza.
