Abstract

PROCESSOS DE AGREGAçãO/EMULSãO USANDO AGENTES AUXILIARES DE COALESCêNCIA. A presente invenção refere-se ao processo para o preparo de um toner que inclui mistura de uma emulsão de resina polimérica, uma dispersão de colorante e uma cera para formar uma mistura; opcionalmente adição de um coagulante à mistura; aquecimento da mistura em uma temperatura abaixo de uma temperatura de transição vítrea da resina polimérica para agregar a resina polimérica, colorante e cera para formar partículas agregadas; adição de um agente coalescente às partículas agregadas; aquecimento das partículas agregadas e agente coalescente em uma temperatura acima da temperatura de transição vítrea da resina polimérica para coalescer as partículas agregadas a fim de formar partículas de toner, opcionalmente resfriamento da mistura e isolamento das partículas de toner.
