Abstract

FORMULAçãO NUTRITIVA, E, USO DE UMA FORMULAçãO. Uma formulação nutritiva para o tratamento de condições inflamatórias do trato gastrintestinal (especialmente da doença de Crohn em pacientes pediátricos) que é composta de: (a) uma fonte de lipídio, (b) uma fonte de carboidratos, e (c) uma fonte de proteínas, onde a fonte de lipídio é composta de uma relação em peso de ácidos graxos n-6:n-3 de 1:3, pelo menos 90% em peso dos ácidos graxos n-3 na fonte de lipídio são fornecidos por ácido alfa-linolênico e pelo menos 90% em peso dos ácidos graxos n-6 na fonte de lipídio são fornecidos por ácido linoleico, e os componentes (a), (b) e (c) em conjunto fornecem pelo menos 400 kcal de energia por 100 g de peso total de (a)-(c).
