Abstract
MÉTODO PARA A REDUÇÃO DE UMA IMPUREZA DE ALDEÍDO DA CORRENTE DE ÁCIDO ACÉTICO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para remoção de impurezas de aldeído de uma corrente de ácido acético. O método inclui reação de uma corrente de ácido acético contendo impurezas de aldeído com um composto de hidroxila para formar os acetais correspondentes. Os acetais são subsequentemente removidos do ácido acético por, por exemplo, destilação.
