Abstract

PROCESSO E DISPOSITIVO PARA RETIRADA DE SOLVENTE SOB PRESSãO REDUZIDA. A invenção fornece um processo contínuo para remover solventes orgânicos de um bagaço compreendendo as etapas de: (a) introduzir dito bagaço de maneira contínua em um removedor de bagaço; (b) introduzir um meio de separação gasoso inerte para dito removedor de solvente; (c) remover dito um ou mais solventes orgânicos de dito bagaço mantendo uma pressão sub-atmosférica dentro de dito removedor de bagaço, fornecendo assim um material orgânico com solvente removido; e (d) extrair de maneira contínua dito material orgânico com solvente removido removido de dito removedor de solvente, no qual a etapa (a) e a etapa (d) compreendem compactar dito bagaço e dito material orgânico com solvente removido para uma primeira e uma segunda massas plásticas substancialmente impermeáveis a gás, respectivamente e extrudar ambas, dita primeira e dita segunda massas plásticas através de um espaço anelar, cuja abertura é controlada pela taxa de suprimento de ditas primeira e segunda massas plásticas. A invenção também fornece um dispositivo para compactar um material orgânico úmido para uma primeira massa plástica impermeável a gás que é útil para implementar este processo.
