Abstract

VEDAçãO PARA EXCLUSãO DE CONTAMINANTE. Um conjunto de vedação para vedar um espaço entre um eixo rotativo e um alojamento. Sob esse aspecto, o conjunto de vedação inclui um componente rotativo conectado no eixo e um componente estacionário conectado no alojamento. A primeira vedação inclui pelo menos um elemento de dispersão que gera um distúrbio de fluido em uma região adjacente ao espaço durante a rotação do componente rotativo e uma descontinuidade que provê uma trajetória para um contaminante sair do espaço.
