Abstract

"processo para a conversão microbiana de fitosteróis em adrostenodiona e androstadienodiona". a presente invenção refere-se a um novo processo para a fermentação de composições de fitosterol em androstenodiona (androst-4-eno-3,17-diona, ad) e/ou androstadienodiona (androsta-1,4-dieno-3,17-diona, add). o processo utiliza o microrganismo micobactéria mb 3683, e agentes solubilizantes adequados selecionados tal como polipropileno glicol ou silicone para solubilizar as composições de fitosterol em altas concentrações no meio nutriente. o inóculo de micobactéria mb 3683 é desenvolvido em um meio nutriente compreendendo melaço de forno de refino e sais inorgânicos.
