Abstract

On décrit un procédé de rejet, écologiquement sans danger, de déchets industriels dangereux contaminés par le plomb (tels que, par exemple, ceux générés comme sous-produits jetables dans les opérations primaires et secondaires de fonte du plomb, en particulier, les scories et la matte des hauts-fourneaux) consistant à réduire la taille des déchets industriels contaminés par le plomb et à les traiter avant de les encapsuler dans un matériau durcissable, avec la zéolite se formant naturellement - la clinoptilolite - en quantité suffisante pour empêcher les ions de plomb (Pb+2) de s'écouler hors des déchets industriels et de s'exposer à l'action d'agents atmosphériques (par ex, l'air chaud et la pluie, ou suite au gel et au dégel cycliques dans les climats à variation de température), même sur une période de temps étendue.
