Abstract
Structure de couture améliorée pour vêtement imperméabilisé dans laquelle un tissu à base de fibres est revêtu d'un film de résine thermoplastique molle (élastomère), caractérisée par le fait qu'un couche d'adhésif fondu d'une résine à fusion est interposée dans une partie d'une couche intermédiaire d'une partie couture formée par soudure d'ourlets, la partie couture présentant les caractérisitiques suivantes: (1) résistance de la couture >/= 25 kg/25 cm de largeur, (2) module de courbure </= 20 gf.cm<2>/cm et (3) pression d'imperméabilisation >/= 800 mmH2O mesurée après avoir effectué 1000 frottements par le procédé Scott. Le procédé de couture de la présente invention consiste à souder en formant des ourlets le vêtement imperméabilisé, à l'aide de la couche de résine à fusion, à soumettre la partie soudée à ourlets à un soudage à haute fréquence dans lequel le courant électrique est appliqué à la partie soudée à ourlets prise en sandwich entre des feuilles de plastique isolantes, et à faire fondre la couche de résine à fusion.
