Abstract

Suite au développement d'un appareil amphibie breveté aux USA, l'inventeur propose un concept sécuritaire rendant son véhicule plus utilisable pour des châssis de plus gros gabarit, pouvant dépasser en charge utile plus d'une tonne métrique, ce qui est considérable pour un véhicule amphibie. Les principales modifications comprennent l'ajout d'un pivot oscillant entre deux parties, cabine et cargo, des caissons de flottaisons gonflables et étanches sur le bâti de l'appareil, et l'addition d'une chenille ininflammable pour l'utilisation du véhicule lors d'interventions contre des incendies de forêt.
