Abstract
L'invention concerne un transducteur électroacoustique. Ce transducteur comprend des premier et deuxième panneaux (18A, 18B) qui peuvent vibrer chacun pour générer des sons, et un cadre (10) pour supporter ces panneaux . Ce transducteur comporte également des premier et deuxième dispositifs d'étanchéité (20A,B) placés entre le cadre et les bords des panneaux pour maintenir ces derniers dans le cadre, en isolant sensiblement, sur le plan acoustique, le cadre des bords des panneaux, et en assurant sensiblement le scellement du cadre sur les bords du panneau. Un ou plusieurs organes de commande (22), tels que des éléments piézo-électriques sont prévus pour recevoir un signal de commande et vibrer en réponse à ce dernier. En outre, les organes de commande sont couplés, de manière mécanique et acoustique, au premier panneau, en un ou plusieurs emplacements éloignés des bords du premier panneau, de sorte que le premier panneau vibre en réponse aux vibrations des organes de commande. Le deuxième panneau est couplé sur le plan mécanique et acoustique au premier panneau et/ou aux organes de commande, en un ou plusieurs emplacements éloignés des bords du deuxième panneau de sorte que le deuxième panneau vibre également en réponse aux vibrations du moyen de commande. Les propriétés acoustiques des panneaux, les dispositifs d'étanchéité, les organes de commande et les accouplements peuvent être choisis pour obtenir une réponse de fréquence requise émise par le transducteur. Différents modes de réalisation sont décrits dans lesquels les panneaux sont entraînées en phases, non en phases et de manière plus complexe.
