Abstract

Selon l'invention, un gène responsable d'une mutation nerveuse au niveau d'un site dans le dixième chromosome humain présentant fréquemment une délétion a été identifié. L'invention concerne également une protéine (un facteur de mutation nerveuse) codée par ce gène. Elle concerne en outre un anticorps contre cette protéine. Parce qu'il présente une grande homologie avec un gène neuralisé de mouche drosophile, ce gène humain responsable de cette mutation nerveuse est un homologue humain du gène neuralisé. L'invention concerne également un gène neuralisé de souris, une protéine codée par ce gène et un anticorps contre cette protéine.
