Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de concentré de nickel à partir de minerai de pyrrhotine-pentlandite. Ledit procédé consiste à broyer le minerai, de sorte que la taille des grains maximum soit obtenue, taille à laquelle la majeure partie des minéraux sulfurés se détachent du silicate ainsi que d'autres rebuts de minéraux, après quoi les sulfures précieux libérés peuvent être concentrés, de sorte que des produits finis de grande qualité soient produits directement ou par broyage supplémentaire, et à séparer magnétiquement du minerai broyé les particules contenant la pyrrhotine, de sorte qu'un concentré magnétique (M1) soit formé. Les produits non-magnétiques (EM1, EM2) obtenus sous forme de résidu après la séparation magnétique sont envoyés dans une zone de flottation dans laquelle les concentrés de nickel et/ou d'autres sulfure précieux sont produits.
