Abstract

Un lest de pipeline de type sac souple, configuré pour être posé à cheval sur un pipeline, comporte un dispositif de fixation interne servant à empêcher le bourrage excessif du lest après son remplissage de matériaux de ballast, ce qui facilite l'installation dans les tranchées étroites. Des boucles de chargement intégrées facilitent le remplissage du lest de matériaux de ballast sans nécessiter d'équipement spécial de chargement. Le lest de pipeline de type sac est formé d'une paire de sections de pattes de chaque côté d'un creux central de réception du pipeline. Une fois remplies de ballast, les pattes restent séparées, ce qui facilite leur installation sur un pipeline. Le lest de pipeline rempli est également indépendant et stable aux fins de transport et d'entreposage avant l'installation. Des élingues de soulèvement facilitent le soulèvement et la manipulation des lests de pipeline remplis sans nécessiter de barres d'écartement.
