Abstract

Un appareil de transmission et une méthode de transmission sont décrits. La méthode de transmission consiste à segmenter des bits d'entrée en au moins un bloc, coder les bits que contiennent ces blocs en vue de générer des bits de parité en fonction d'un code de contrôle de parité à faible densité. Elle consiste également, dans un premier mode, à procéder à une répétition quant à au moins une partie des bits de parité générés et, dans un deuxième mode, à sauter la répétition. Le débit du code du premier contrôle de la parité à faible densité dans le premier mode est égal à celui dans le deuxième mode, une longueur du code du premier contrôle de la parité à faible densité dans le premier mode est égale à celle dans le deuxième mode et une première valeur de référence de la segmentation dans le premier mode est inférieure à la valeur de référence de la segmentation dans le deuxième mode.
