Abstract

Un procédé et un système connexe pour créer des effets de couleur dans un matériau capable dextrusion, comme un plastique et un métal, sont présentés. Des flux dun premier et dun deuxième matériau visqueux de couleurs respectives sont décrits, lesquels sont ensuite combinés selon un modèle prédéterminé pour former un flux de matériau visqueux combiné. Selon un premier aspect, le débit du premier matériau visqueux change au fil du temps pour modifier une quantité du premier matériau dans le flux. Selon un deuxième aspect, qui peut être utilisé seul ou avec le premier aspect, le premier et le deuxième matériau visqueux ont des viscosités différentes pour réduire le mélange de couleur de la première et de la deuxième couleur dans le flux de matériaux combinés. Un mélangeur statique peut ensuite être utilisé pour appliquer un mouvement prédéterminé de division, de renversement et de combinaison au flux combiné pour partiellement mélanger le premier et le deuxième matériau visqueux, de sorte que le premier matériau de la première couleur et le deuxième matériau de la deuxième couleur forment un motif de couleur dans le flux combiné à sa sortie du mélangeur. Des feuilles de matériau capable dextrusion peuvent être créées au moyen dun tel procédé et utilisées dans la fabrication de nombreux produits différents, par exemple des kayaks et des planches à pagaie.
