Abstract

La présente invention concerne divers appareils, systèmes et procédés pour mesurer une caractéristique de solution d'un échantillon comprenant des micro-organismes. Dans un mode de réalisation, la présente invention concerne un appareil de capteur comprenant un récipient d'échantillon comprenant une chambre d'échantillon configurée pour recevoir l'échantillon et un composant de capteur de référence comprenant un conduit de référence ayant une cavité de conduit de référence définie à l'intérieur de celui-ci. La cavité de conduit de référence peut être au moins partiellement remplie d'un gel de tampon de référence, d'une solution tampon, ou d'un constituant à effet de mèche. Un segment du conduit de référence peut s'étendre dans la chambre d'échantillon. Un matériau d'électrode de référence peut être positionné au niveau d'une extrémité proximale du constituant à effet de mèche ou s'étendre partiellement dans la cavité de conduit de référence. L'appareil de capteur peut également comprendre un composant de capteur actif ayant une électrode active en contact fluidique avec l'échantillon. L'échantillon dans la chambre d'échantillon peut être aéré par l'intermédiaire d'un orifice d'aération défini le long d'une surface du récipient d'échantillon.
