Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem       Farbstoff,    welcher     Färbungen    von ausgezeich  rreten Echtheitseigenschaften gibt; gelangt,  wenn man     die.Diazoverbindung    von     m-Amido-          p-methoxybenzoesäure-o-toluidid    mit     2#        3-Oxy-          naphtoesäure-5-chlor-2-toluidid        (CHa    :     NH2    : Cl  = 1:2:5) kuppelt.

   Man erhält hierbei einen  Farbstoff von ausgezeichnet klarer, blaustichig  roter Nuance, der die wichtige Eigenschaft  besitzt, dass er zur Erzeugung von echten       alizarinrosa    Tönen dienen kann.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Die aus 25,6 kg     m-Amido-p-methoxy-          benzoesäure-o-toluidid    in üblicher Weise dar  gestellte     Diazoverbindung    lässt man unter  Rühren in eine     wässrige    Suspension von 31 kg  2     #        3-Oxynaphtoesänre-5-eblor-2-toluidid        (CH3          NH2:    C1     =    1:2:5), bereitet durch Auflösen    desselben in Natronlauge und Wiederausfällen  mit verdünnter Essigsäure, einlaufen. Der       Farbstoff    scheidet sich als roter Niederschlag  aus. Darauf wird filtriert, gewaschen und ge  trocknet.

Der Farbstoff stellt ein rotes Pulver dar und eignet sich besonders gut zur Erzeugung von alizarinrosa Tönen.
