Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     d.ass    man einen wert  vollen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man     das    Re  aktionsprodukt, das bei der     Alkalischmelze     aus     1,2-Naphthophenazin-8-sulf        osäure    ent  steht, mit     chlorierend    wirkenden Mitteln be  handelt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  5 Teile des aus     1,2-Naphthophenazin-8-          sulfosäure    in der     Alkalischmelze    erhältlichen  Reaktionsproduktes werden in 100 Teilen     Ni-          trobenzol    bei 50   gelöst. Hierzu lässt man  8 Teile     Sulfurylchl.orid    tropfen. Nach     Be-          endigung,der    Reaktion wird das Nitrobenzol  abgeblasen. Man erhält ein in gelben Na  deln kristallisierendes     Trichlorderivat,    das  sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit  blauer Farbe löst und sich oberhalb<B>250'</B>  zersetzt.

   Beim Erhitzen mit alkalischer     Hy-          drosulfitlösung    bildet es eine gelbe     Küpe,     aus der Baumwolle goldgelb angefärbt wird.  Die Färbungen nehmen beim Chloren einen    noch lebhafteren Ton an und sind sehr licht  echt.

   When heated with an alkaline hydrosulphite solution, it forms a yellow vat from which cotton is dyed golden yellow. When chlorinated, the colors take on an even livelier tone and are very lightfast.
