Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen liüpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Küpenfarbstoff erhält, wenn man Schwefel- dichlorid (S C12) auf 2. 5-Dianilidobenzo- chinon bei höherer Temperatur einwirken lässt. Die Reaktion wird zweckmässig in Ge genwart von Verdünnungsmitteln, wie Nitro- benzol. gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart von säurebindenden Mitteln, durchgeführt.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkelbraunes Pul ver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit violettblauer Farbe löst und Wolle aus der Hydrosulfitküpe in vollen echten, violett- braunen Nuancen färbt. <I>Beispiel:</I> 7,2 Teile 2. 5-Dianilidobenzochino@n, sus- pendiert in 144 Teilen' Nitrobenzol, werden bei 5 mit 8 Teilen Schwefeldichlorid (S C12) versetzt, in drei Stunden bis auf 100 bis <B>110,</B> erwärmt und drei Stunden bei dieser Temperatur unter Rühren belassen. Nach ,dem Erkalten wird filtriert, gewaschen und getrocknet.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff be sitzt die in der Einleitung beschriebenen Ei genschaften. Ein sehr ähnliches Produkt ent steht, wenn man in der Siedehitze des Ge misches oder unter Zusatz von Magnesia, ar beitet.
Process for the production of a new liüpen dye. It has been found that a new vat dye is obtained if sulfur dichloride (S C12) is allowed to act on 2.5-dianilidobenzoquinone at a higher temperature. The reaction is expediently carried out in the presence of diluents such as nitrobenzene. optionally carried out in the presence of acid-binding agents.
The new dye forms a dark brown powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a violet-blue color and dyes wool from the hydrosulfite vat in full, genuine, violet-brown shades. <I> Example: </I> 7.2 parts of 2. 5-dianilidobenzochino @ n, suspended in 144 parts of nitrobenzene, are mixed with 8 parts of sulfur dichloride (S C12) at 5, in three hours up to 100 to <B> 110 </B> heated and left for three hours at this temperature while stirring. After cooling, it is filtered, washed and dried.
The dye obtained in this way has the properties described in the introduction. A very similar product arises when you work at the boiling point of the mixture or with the addition of magnesia.
