Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung von Dibrom-Bz 1, Bz 1'-benzanthronylsulfid. Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von Dibrom-Bz 1, Bz 1'-benzanthronylsulfid durch Behandlung von Bz 1, Bz l'-benzanthronylsulfid mit einem Bromierungsmittel. Das Dibrom-Bz 1, Bz l' benzanthronylsulfid kann als Zwischenprodukt zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen dienen.
,Beispiel: 10 Gewichtsteile Bz 1, Bzl'-benzanthronyl- sulfid werden bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur in 100 GewichtsteileMonohydrat eingetragen und langsam 6,6 Gewichtsteile Brom zugegeben. Man erwärmt das Reaktionsgemisch einige Stunden auf 60-70 o und gibt nachdem Erkal ten auf Eis. Das wie üblich isolierte Dibrom- Bz 1, Bz 1'-benzanthronylsulfid ist ein orange gelbes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwe felsäure mit grüner Farbe löst. .

The dibromo-Bz 1, Bz l 'benzanthronyl sulfide can serve as an intermediate for the production of dyes.
Example: 10 parts by weight of Bz 1, Bzl'-benzanthronyl sulfide are introduced into 100 parts by weight of monohydrate at normal temperature and 6.6 parts by weight of bromine are slowly added. The reaction mixture is heated to 60-70 o for a few hours and, after cooling, is poured onto ice. The dibromo- Bz 1, Bz 1'-benzanthronyl sulfide isolated as usual is an orange-yellow powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a green color. .
