Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasserunlöslichen Azofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu wasser unlöslichen Azofarbstoffen von hervorragenden Echtheitseigenschaften und besonders klaren, alizarinrotähnlichen Nuancen gelangt, wenn man die Diazoverbindungen von m-gylidinen, nachstehender Konstitution

worin R-Wasserstoff oder ein Alkylrest sein kann und Ri- ein Benzoylrest oder ein sub stituierter Benzoylrest ist,
mit Aryliden der 2.3-Oxynaphtoesäure für sich oder auf der Faser kombiniert.
Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines wasserun löslichen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man 1 Mol. 2.3-Oxynaphtoesäure- ss-naphtalid mit 1 Mol. der Diazoverbindung von Benzoylamino-as-m-xylidin (NH2, CHs, CHa, NH. CO .<B>C6H5</B> =1: 2 : 4 : 5) kuppelt.
Beispiel: 313 Gewichtsteile 2.3-Oxynaphtoesäure- P-naphtalid werden mit Natronlauge in 300 Gewichtsteilen Wasser gelöst und 100 Teile Substrat, z. B. Aluminiumhydrat-Bariumsulfat zugegeben. Dann wird in bekannter Weise mit der Diazoverbindung aus 2,4 Gewichts teilen Benzoylamino-as-m-xylidin (NH2, CHs, CHs, NH; CO . C6H5 =1: 2 : 4 : 5) in 200 Ge wichtsteilen Wasser gekuppelt. Nach been digter Kupplung wird gewaschen, filtriert und getrocknet.
Man erhält einen blaustichigroten Lack. Der Farbstoff lässt sich in bekannter Weise auch auf der Faser kuppeln.

The subject of the present patent is a process for the preparation of a water-insoluble azo dye, characterized in that 1 mole of 2,3-oxynaphthoic acid ss-naphthalide is mixed with 1 mole of the diazo compound of benzoylamino-as-m-xylidine (NH2, CHs, CHa, NH. CO. <B> C6H5 </B> = 1: 2: 4: 5).
Example: 313 parts by weight of 2,3-oxynaphthoic acid-p-naphthalide are dissolved in 300 parts by weight of water with sodium hydroxide solution and 100 parts of substrate, e.g. B. aluminum hydrate barium sulfate added. Then in a known manner with the diazo compound from 2.4 parts by weight of benzoylamino-as-m-xylidine (NH2, CHs, CHs, NH; CO. C6H5 = 1: 2: 4: 5) in 200 parts by weight of water. After the coupling is completed, it is washed, filtered and dried.
A bluish-tinged red paint is obtained. The dye can also be coupled to the fiber in a known manner.
