Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes. Im Hauptpatent Nr.139808 ist ein Ver fahren zur Herstellung eines wertvollen Küpenfarbstoffes beschrieben, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man 1 Mol. des durch di rektes Bromieren von 2. 2'-Dibenzanthronyl erhaltenen Tetrabrom-) .2'-dibenzanthronyls mit 2 Mol. 1-Aminoanthrachinon erhitzt.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man eben falls einen ähnlich wertvollen Küpenf arb- stoff erhält, wenn man 1 Mol. 6. 6'-Dichlor- dibrom - 2. 2' - dibenzanthronyl, erhältlich durch Eintragen von 6.6'-Dichlor-2.2'-di- betizanthronyl in überschüssiges Brom, mit 2 31o1. 1-Aminoanthrachinon, zweckmässig in Gegenwart von säurebindenden Mitteln und Metallverbindungen, zum Beispiel Kupfer verbindungen, erhitzt.
Der neue Farbstoff löst sich in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure beim Erwärmen mit violettbrauner Farbe und färbt aus blau violetter Küpe Baumwolle in blauschwarzen Tönen. <I>Beispiel:</I> 10 Teile 6 . 6' - Dichlordibrom - 2 . 2' - di- benzanthronyl (darzustellen durch Eintragen von 6. 6'-Dichlor - 2.
2' - dibenzanthronyl in überschüssiges Brom) werden mit 6,5 Teilen 1-Aminoanthrachinon, 2 Teilen calcinierter Soda und 0,2 Teilen Kupferoxyd in 150 Teilen Nitrobenzol mehrere Stunden lang ge kocht, bis die Farbstoffbildung beendet ist. Man arbeitet die Schmelze in der üblichen Weise auf und kann den Farbstoff durch Auskochen mit Nitrobenzol oder andern ge eigneten Lösungsmitteln noch reinigen.

It has now been found that a similarly valuable vat dye is obtained if 1 mol. 6. 6'-dichlorodibromo-2.2'-dibenzanthronyl, obtainable by adding 6.6'-dichloro-2.2 ' -di-betizanthronyl in excess bromine, with 2 31o1. 1-Aminoanthraquinone, conveniently in the presence of acid-binding agents and metal compounds, for example copper compounds, heated.
The new dye dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid when heated with a violet-brown color and dyes cotton in blue-black tones from a blue-violet vat. <I> Example: </I> 10 parts 6. 6 '- dichlorodibromine - 2. 2 '- dibenzanthronyl (to be prepared by entering 6. 6'-dichloro - 2.
2 '- dibenzanthronyl in excess bromine) are boiled with 6.5 parts of 1-aminoanthraquinone, 2 parts of calcined soda and 0.2 parts of copper oxide in 150 parts of nitrobenzene for several hours until the dye formation has ended. The melt is worked up in the usual way and the dye can still be purified by boiling it with nitrobenzene or other suitable solvents.
