Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Köpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen wert vollen neuen Küpenfarbstoff erhält, wenn man 2,-.Xerkapto-l-methylanthraellinon, das aus 2-I-Ialogen-l-metliyl-anthrachincn durch Behandeln mit Seliwefelnatrium erhalten werden kann, mit Schwefel erhitzt.
Der neue Farbstoff löst sich in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure mit rotvioletter Farbe, liefert eine olivefarbene Küpe und färbt Baumwolle in klaren orangegelben Tönen von ,Mlosser Echtheit.
<I>Beispiel:</I> <B>1</B> Teil 2-Merkapto-l-methylanthrachinon, (las aus -)-Chlor-l-methylanthrachiiion durch Behandeln mit Schwefelnatrium erhalten #verden kann, wird mit 4 Teilen Schwefel ge- miseht und<B>3</B> bis 4 Stunden lang bei zirka -)50 bis<B>260' C</B> verschmolzen. Die fertige Schmelze wird zur Entfernung des über schüssigen Schwefels mit Schwefelnatrium- lösung ausgekocht. Der zurückbleibende Farbstoff wird aus Schwefelsäure umgelöst und durch Behandeln mit Natriumhypochlo- ritlösung gereinigt.
Chemisch rein wird er durch Kristallisation aus hochsiedenden or ganischen Lösungsmitteln, zum Beispiel Tri- chlorbenzol oder Nitrobenzol, erhalten.
Process for the preparation of a woolen dye. It has been found that a valuable new vat dye is obtained if 2-Xerkapto-1-methylanthraellinone, which can be obtained from 2-I-halogen-1-methyl-anthraquinone by treatment with sodium sulfate, is heated with sulfur.
The new dye dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a red-violet color, provides an olive-colored vat and dyes cotton in clear orange-yellow shades of Mlosser authenticity.
