Description
Verfahren zur Gewinnung eines therapeutisch wertvollen Produktes. Gegenstand des Hauptpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von Chlor-4-(n- octyl-1')-resoi-cin.
Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von Chlor-4- (n-hexyl-1')-resorcin. Das Verfahren ist da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf 4-(n- Hexyl-1')-i#esoi-ciri ein Ohlorierungsmittel in etwa molekularem Verhältnis einwirken lässt. Als Chlorierungsmittel verwendet man zweck mässig Sulfurylchlorid ; auch kann man freies Chlor, zweckmässig in Gegenwart der übli chen Katalysatoren, wie Eisen bezw. Eisen chlorid, zur Anwendung bringen.
Die Reak tion kann in Gegenwart oder Abwesenheit eines Lösemittels, wie Chlorbenzol, Nitro- benzol, Ligroin, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff und dergleichen ausgeführt werden. Das so er hältliche.Chlor-4-(n-hexyl-1')-resorcin destilliert als farbloses Öl unter 5-6 mm Druck bei 170-173 . Es ist schwer löslich in Wasser, leicht löslich in organischen Löseinittelri. Das neue Produkt soll therapeutische An wendung finden.
Beispiel: 30 gr 4-(n-Hexyl-1')-resoroin werden in etwa 100 eins Chlorbenzol gelöst. Dazu lässt man unter Rühren am Rückflusskühler bei <B>50-60</B> 17 #i, Sulfurylchlorid zutropfen. Wenn die Reaktion beendet ist, erwärmt man noch eine Stunde auf dein Wasserbad und treibt das Lösungsmittel ini Nahnum ab. Der Rückstand wird unter vermindertem Druck destilliert.
Das Chlor-4-(n-hexyl-1')- resorcin siedet unter 5-6 mm Druch bei 170-17311. Es ist schwer löslich in Wasser, leicht löslich in organischen Lösungsmitteln.
