Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 173414. \erfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen schwefelhaltigen Farbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen schwefelhaltigen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man das 4- Oxy -1-(4'-oxy) - phenylaminoanthra- zerr mit schwefelabgebenden Mitteln behan delt.
Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar und färbt Baumwolle aus schwe- felnatriumhaltigem Bade in dunkelgrünen Tönen, <I>Beispiel:</I> 4 Teile des 4-Oxy-1-(4'-öxy)-phenylamino- anthrazens werden während 4 Stunden bei 150-160o in einem Schweflungsgemisch, bestehend aus 5 Teilen Natriumtetrasulfid, 40 Teilen Cyclohexanol und 2,4 Teilen Schwe fel erwärmt. Hierauf wird mit Wasserdampf das Cyclohexanol entfernt und der Farbstoff in bekannter Weise abgeschieden, z.
B. durch Versetzen der vom Cyclohexanol befreiten SchwefelrratriumlösungmitAmmoniumchlorid. Man erhält einen dunkelgrünen Schwefel farbstoff.
Das 4-Oxy-1-(4'-oxy)-phenylamirioanthra- zen kann wie folgt hergestellt werden 7 Teile Chinonchlorimid werden in 150 Teilen 96 o/oiger Schwefelsäure gelöst und zu einer Lösung von 10 Teilen a-Oxyanthrazen in 150 Teilen 96 o/oiger Schwefelsäure bei -20 0 möglichst rasch zugegeben. Das gebildete Indophenol wird auf eine Mischung von Eis und wässerigem Ammoniak ausgetragen, ab gesaugt und mit Schwefelnatrium in 4-Oxy- 1-(4'oxy)-phenylaminoanthrazen verwandelt.
