Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 1901b4.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines komplex gebundenes Metall enthaltenden     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass ein komplex ge  bundenes Metall enthaltender Farbstoff her  gestellt werden kann,     wenn    man den     Azo-          farb8toff    der Formel    OH  I       -N=N\          >30          SOBH       ein kupferabgebendes Mittel und     Glykokoll     aufeinander einwirken     läLSt.     



  Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein wasser  lösliches, blaues Pulver dar, das Leder in  blauen Tönen färbt.  



  Eine zweckmässige Ausführungsform des  Verfahrens besteht darin, dass zuerst durch  Umsetzung von     Glykokoll    mit einem kupfer  abgebenden Mittel das Kupfersalz des     Glyko-          kolls    hergestellt und letzteres mit dem     Azo-          farbstoff    umgesetzt wird;     Glykokollkupfer            hydrolysiert    in alkalischer Lösung nicht oder  nur wenig und kann deshalb in alkalischen       Medien    zur Anwendung gelangen.  



  Im ferneren kann das Verfahren auch  derart durchgeführt werden, dass auf den       Farbstoff,    der unter Verwendung der üblichen  kupferabgebenden Mittel, wie z. B. Kupfer  sulfat, in die Kupferverbindung übergeführt  worden ist,     Glykokoll    einwirken gelassen wird.  <I>Beispiel:</I>  5 Teile des     Azofarbstoffes    aus     diazotier-          ter        1-Oxy-2-aminonaphthalin-4-sulfonsäure     und     2-Oxynaphthalin    werden in 100 Teilen  Wasser bei     80-100'    gelöst.

   Man versetzt  mit 2,b-3 Teilen einer wässerigen Lösung  von     glykokollsaurem    Kupfer, worauf sich  sofort die violette Lösung der komplexen       Glykokollkupferverbindung    bildet, die durch  Eindampfen im Vakuum isoliert werden kann.

  An expedient embodiment of the method consists in that the copper salt of the glycol is first produced by reacting glycoll with a copper-releasing agent, and the latter is reacted with the azo dye; Glycocopper does not hydrolyze or only slightly hydrolyzes in alkaline solution and can therefore be used in alkaline media.



  Furthermore, the method can also be carried out in such a way that the dye, which is produced using the usual copper-releasing agents, such as. B. copper sulfate, has been converted into the copper compound, glycocoll is allowed to act. <I> Example: </I> 5 parts of the azo dye from diazotized 1-oxy-2-aminonaphthalene-4-sulfonic acid and 2-oxynaphthalene are dissolved in 100 parts of water at 80-100 °.

   It is mixed with 2, b-3 parts of an aqueous solution of glycocollate, whereupon the violet solution of the complex glycocopper compound immediately forms, which can be isolated by evaporation in vacuo.

PATENTANSPRUGH Verfahren zur Herstellung eines komplex gebundenes Metall enthaltenden Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Azo- farbstoff der Formel EMI0002.0004 ein kupferabgebendes Mittel und Glykokoll aufeinander einwirken lässt. Der erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein wasser lösliches, blaues Pulver dar, das Leder in blauen Tönen färbt. UNTERANSPRÜOBE 1.
