EMI0001.0002
In einigen Fällen, z.
Dann gibt man 2600 Gewichtsteile Eis hinzu.
Process for the preparation of a diogazine dye sulfonic acid.
EMI0001.0002
In the main patent 1,86,848 the presen- tation of dye sulfonic acids from diaryl amino-1 .4-benzoehinonderivaten of the formula by treatment with acidic or alkaline condensing agents, conveniently in the presence of organic or inorganic oxidizing agents, is described. In this formula, R and R, a sulfated monovalent radical containing more than two rings, denote, X and X, hydrogen.
Alkyl, aryl or halogen.
It has been found that valuable dyestuff sulfonic acids are also formed from those diaryl-a.mino-1,4-benzoquinone derivatives in which R and R ,, represent sulfated diarylamine residues which can be substituted on nitrogen.
In some cases, e.g. B. when using oleum as a condensing agent, it is useful. The dye obtained sulfonic acids with dilute acids, for example at temperatures of about 90 ° C to about 130 'C to heat to remove unwanted sulfo groups to split off again.
As a condensation agent, fuming sulfuric acid with any S03 content, e.g. Use e.g. 20% S03.
The starting compounds can be obtained by condensation of 1,4-benzoquinone derivatives, eg. B. benzoquinone, toluquinone, tetrachloroquinone, tetrabromoquinone, 2.
Prepare 6-dichloroquinone with aminosulfonic acids of a diarylamine, whose imide hydrogen can also be substituted, in water or alcohol: Aminosulfonic acids of diarylamine are easily made by various methods, e.g. B. by the action of such Halogennitrosulfonicäuren, z. B.
the benzene or naphthalene series, which contain a mobile halogen, in the presence of acid-binding agents on organic amino compounds such as aniline, acetanilide, methylaniline, toluidines, xylidines, aminodiphenylamines, naphthylamines, 2-amino-5.6.7.8-tetrahydronaphthalene 'in,
Aminocarbazoles, aminofluorene, aminopyrene, aminochrysene and their derivatives and derivatives with subsequent reduction of the nitrodiarylaminosulfonic acids formed first, if necessary still acylated.
The dye sulfonic acids obtainable by the present process are new. They probably belong to the dioxazine series and fex animal and vegetable fibers as well as viscose fibers and mixed fabrics in real tones.
The present additional patent is a process for the preparation of a di- oxazine dyestuff sulfonic acid, characterized in that the condensation product, which is composed of 1 mol of tetrachloroquinone and 2 times 4-aminodiphenyl-amine-2-sulfonic acid by reaction in alcohol in the presence of one acid binding agent is available,
converted into the oxazine compound by treatment with a sulphurizing condensation agent and the condensation product is heated with a dilute acid.
Example: 100 parts by weight of the condensation product from 1 mole of tetrachloroquinone and 2 moles of 4-aminodiphenylamine-2-sulfonic acid (obtained, for example, by reacting the two components in alcohol or water in the presence of an acid-binding agent)
are dissolved in 2000 parts by weight of oleum 20% and treated at 19 to 20 C for about 1 to 2 hours or a few hours more at 0 C to -1-5 C with it. Then 2600 parts by weight of ice are added. The dye can be precipitated out by salting out, whereupon it is suctioned off, washed acid-free with saline solution and net dry. However, since it is in a strongly sulfated form, a considerable part remains in solution when it is salted out.
It is therefore advisable to reflux the solution for about 5 hours after adding the specified amount of ice. If you then dilute with approximately the same amount of water, the color acid precipitates out completely. and can be sucked off without loss and converted into the sodium salt. The dye has in conc. Sulfuric acid a blue, the: starting material a brown solution color.
It dyes animal and vegetable fibers as well as viscose fibers and mixed fabrics in clear blue tones.
